What is the difference between the POE power supply switch and the integrator?
1. from the bandwidth, no matter how many ports, all ports share one bandwidth, only two ports can transmit data at the same time, other ports can only wait, and the hub can only work in half duplex mode; for POE power switch, each port has an exclusive bandwidth. When two ports work without affecting the work of other ports, the POE power supply switch can not only work in a half duplex mode but also work in full duplex mode.

2. from the point of view of OSI architecture, the hub belongs to the first level physical layer device, while the POE power switch belongs to OSI's second level data link layer device. That is to say, the hub only plays the role of synchronizing, amplifying and shaping the data transmission, and can not effectively handle the short frame = fragments in the data transmission, and can not guarantee the integrity and correctness of the data transmission; and the POE power supply switch can not only synchronize, magnify and plastic the data transmission, but also do the data transmission. It can filter short frames, fragments, and so on.
3. from the mode of work, the hub is a broadcasting mode, that is to say, when the hub works on a port, all other ports can listen to information, easily generate the broadcast storm. When the network is large, the network performance will be greatly affected; and the POE power supply switch can avoid this phenomenon when switching. When the machine works, only the request port and the destination port respond to each other without affecting the other ports, so the POE power supply switch can isolate the conflict domain and effectively suppress the broadcast storm.
